about Senzo... My name is Senzo Ndlovu, born and bred in the South Coast. Has always been enthusiastic about food and the kitchen as a whole.

Started my culinary journey at a young age of 19 at the Brazen Head and never looked back.

I was born into a family of many talents, being the last born male.

Coming into the Afroboer brand was a major step in the right direction for me as a person and also as a chef.

Being led by one the most amazing minds in the industry, Michelle Cronje has made me see things differently and realize that there is more to this industry when it comes to food, drinks and managing an establishment.

Afroboer as a brand has deep authentic culture well focused on growth and creating amazing culinary experiences.

With the ever evolving culinary world Afroboer will expand and offer its amazing experiences to the world, and I will be there to spearhead the exciting journey.

about michelle… Michelle is a proud mother of two successful adult students, no ordinary wife, passionate about baking, cooking, writing, teaching, music and the arts and has a love for endurance running cycling swimming and climbing high mountains.

Through the years she has threaded her French Huguenot heritage and travels, stories of her baking and cooking experiences, her love for fynbos, and nomadic wanderings into a place where a Collectivist Culture can imprint onto the passing-by guest.

A place where words like Loftus, shisa-nyama, braai, koeksister, melktert, bunny chow, springbokkie Jacaranda’s and the real makoya are all words synonymous with home-comings.
