The Café Deli, coffeeBAR and Bread hatch

Our area has gone through some significant changes post-Covid...
Due to on-going construction to Lynnwood Road, the new
shopping mall “Linton’s Corner” opposite our entrance, and the
rerouting of the traffic into and out of Meerlust Avenue into Cura and
Solomon Mahlangu, our little stand-alone has had to undergo
some changes. Good thing though! We have morphed, and will
now expand into a tenant and garden take-away coffee hub, will all

the afro-attitude we can muster...!

Added to this also a bread outlet through the hatch with a new
collaboration in the making..., and a delivery and food order pickup
zone for our on-line bakery and food food pick-up and delivery
services such as Über Eats and Mr. Delivery.
Watch this become our new little “naughty corner”!

spaza shop

When lock-down came and locked us down... and we were
slightly unlocked with a Spaza Shoppe Level 5 Trading Certificate
from those ummm decision makers that also outlawed flip-flops at
the time... we erected our little Spaza Shoppe to start goods
trading whilst wondering what will further be unlocked or locked up

over a coffee and a cheesy muffin!

As with all good (and bad things!) that too, came to an end...
and well we leave the Spaza Shopping in the dust and streets of
the informal trade sector, closer to the heartbeat of township music

and painted shack walls...
Coming NEW into this “street-vibe” space...
is our Corner-Store, just around the corner from the “naughty
corner”, situated inside the “hoeksteen van die Ooste”: Meerlust #1
