Michelle is a proud mother of two successful adult students, no ordinary wife, passionate about baking, cooking, writing, teaching, music and the arts and has a love for endurance running cycling swimming and climbing high mountains.

 

Through the years she has threaded her French Huguenot heritage and travels, stories of her baking and cooking experiences, her love for fynbos, and nomadic wanderings into a place where a Collectivist Culture can imprint onto the passing-by guest.

 

A place where words like Loftus, shisa-nyama, braai, koeksister, melktert, bunny chow, springbokkie Jacaranda’s and the real makoya are all words synonymous with home-comings.
